Our Story
Seepiphany was founded in 2006 with a goal of helping innovators and managers move their
organizations forward. We want to help them realize their vision, to See their Epiphany.
While helping one of our clients bring a new service to the market, they asked us to help them
find a tool to manage the full business. They needed something fast that would help them
perform subscription billing, manage inventory including inventory sent to customers, manage
marketing and sales as well as the customer support process and make sure the relevant
revenue financial information made it to their large corporation’s general ledger system.
In 2009, we recommended to the client that they adopt the NetSuite software as a service. We
have been working with NetSuite since that time to help innovators and managers move their
organizations forward.

The short answer is because it is an unmatched service in allowing managers to run their business the way they want instead of forcing them into a single approach.

Dealer Palette
Working with NetSuite we started attending their annual conferences called SuiteWorld. During one of those conferences, NetSuite described a generic opportunity they referred to as micro-vertical industries. Meaning an industry too small for them to become experts but a great opportunity for a partner to pursue. About the same time, one of our partners, also a part-owner of an office furniture dealership, realized that existing software organizations serving those dealerships had not kept pace with the best practices for delivering software as a service. Those events led to building Dealer Palette a NetSuite App to serve office furniture dealers.
We recognize several opportunities to help office dealers including:
Improve Customer Service: Continually improving something requires a defined process that can be measured, the ability to propose improvements, implement them, study the results, and take the next step. We have been able to implement that through NetSuite’s project management and analytics.
Reduce Unexpected Costs: Projects may run into unexpected issues. We believe in the maxim the sooner you can identify a problem the less expensive it is to resolve. We have tailored NetSuite to show project managers in real time, both the high-level tasks that need attention as well as the details behind those tasks.
Improve Margins: We have tailored NetSuite to support a variety of dimensions of projects (e.g., small, large, government, by sales office, by sales rep, by manufacturer, etc.) and to report on those projects in ways that provide insights into sales and gross margins. The information is very powerful in efforts to improve margins.
